‘Therefore the winds, piping to us in vain, as in revenge, have sucked up from the sea contagious fogs; which falling in the land have every pelting river made so proud that they have overborne their continents.’
- Titania. A Midsummer Nights Dream
This piece is inspired by the deeply moving monologue of Titania to her husband Oberon. Titania, the Queen of the Fairies is worried about the natural order of the world that has been upheaved because of her and Oberon’s quarrelling.
Not unlike today’s political, environment and social landscape when kindness and awareness are not the driving forces.
